Corporate Responsibility in Israel – 20 Years of the Maala Index<\/mark><\/h3>

The 2026 Maala ESG Index was released in a reveal event held at the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.<\/p>

This year, the Maala Index turns the spotlight on the distinctiveness of Israeli corporate responsibility. Israel’s leading companies operate with an agenda of ongoing commitment to Israeli society and a values-driven orientation attuned to local needs, alongside steady progress on environmental and climate challenges.<\/p>

This year’s rating included approximately 150 companies, with combined revenues of around 570 billion NIS and some 200,000 employees in Israel – representing roughly a quarter of the country’s GDP and around 10% of the business sector workforce. Publicly-listed companies rated by Maala are included in the TA-Maala Index on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange, which in 2025 recorded an annual return of 68.5%, compared to 51% for the TA-125.<\/p>
