The total amount of donations by public companies in Israel in 2024 reached 680 million NIS
Main findings:
- The total amount of donations by public companies in Israel in 2024 increased by approximately 86 million NIS compared to the previous year, reaching 680 million NIS. This is an increase of 14%. This follows an unprecedented 41% increase in total donations from public companies in 2023 compared to 2022.
- The ten largest public companies contributed 62% of all donations from public companies.
- Almost all of the increase in donations in 2024 stems from the increase in donations from three of the largest banks. This increase also offset the decline in donations from many other companies: 112 companies reduced their donations in 2024. This compares to fewer than 64 companies that reduced their donations in each of the previous three years.

Report Donations Donations of Public Companies in Israel is an annual report jointly published by the Ma’ale Organization and the Institute of Law and Philanthropy at Tel Aviv University. The report, published for the eighth consecutive year, examines the donation policies of public companies listed on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange, based on data appearing in the companies’ annual financial statements.
