The Maala ESG corporate responsibility rating for 2025 was announced on July 22 at an exposure event at the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange. This year we chose to invite Eli Sharabi, a survivor of captivity, who symbolizes hope, resilience and an optimistic outlook on the future of Israeli society. Among the notable figures in this year’s ranking: a significant jump in total donations in 2024: approximately 960 million NIS compared to 590 million NIS in 2022 before the war. Alongside the donations, approximately 60% of the companies reported new social partnerships that are advancing in rehabilitation and rebuilding in the wake of the war. The initiatives are in a variety of areas such as: advanced agriculture, community rehabilitation, mental resilience, rehabilitation of IDF wounded men and women, regular and reserve soldiers and reservist wives, headquarters for the families of the kidnapped, hospitals, and more.

160 companies participated in this year’s ranking from various sectors, including: industry, food, services, high-tech, banking and finance, defense industries, pharmaceuticals, infrastructure, renewable energy, food tech, and more. The aggregate turnover of the ranked companies is approximately 424 billion NIS, which is approximately 21.2% of GDP. The aggregate number of employees among the companies is approximately 300,000 employees, which constitutes approximately 6.6% of the workforce In Israel.
